I explore themes of identity, theories of knowledge, hierarchies of value and the perception of reality through contemporary sculpture, installation, photography, video, sound and textiles. My works invite the viewer to think about and question the nature of perception and their understanding of the world.
I am passionate about the democratisation of art and sharing knowledge and skills and regularly run art workshops for adults and children at community based art organisations in Tasmania.
My studio is located at KickstART Arts in Nipaluna/Hobart, Lutruwita/Tasmania.
I acknowledge the palawa/pakana and Muwinina people, the Traditional Custodians of the land upon which I live and work, and pay my respects to Elders past and present. This land is and always will be Aboriginal land.
